After several "false starts" with the update issues with BerryWeather, I have had to remove it from my BlackBerry. After numerous requests for resolution and updates from the support team at BellShare's website, I have been openly chastised for being "negative". I can no longer recommend this app. Despite it's great features endless promise, it simply has failed to deliver the goods, at least for me. I wish the thing had crapped out during my trial period - I could have saved myself $10... Regardless, I have two words for the potential customer: Caveat emptor.
Though some posters here have had bad experiences with Berryweather that's not to say that all users have had bad ones. How accurate and timely the forecasts are, and how well and reliably they are updated depends a great deal on just where you are located and the locations you choose to use.
For me at least, it has always been quite accurate - and I have used it across the US - from New York to Chicago to California - and internationally from Canada to Europe. I always have one location set to "find me" - either via GPS or Cell Tower triangulation if GPS is not available - and it has always given me forecasts and current conditions wherever I have been.
