Default Thinking of Getting an 8300/Question about Internet....

I am wanting to purchase a 8300 from Verizon but I was wondering how does the internet work? Is the internet WIFI or do I have to purchase the internet for the Blackberry through Verizon?

You can't get an 8300 from Verizon. Not now, anyway. None of the currently available 8300's have Wi-Fi.

Verizon has the 8830, not the 8300. Their device is not WiFi, but their network is faster than EDGE speeds.

Yes, indeed. But he asked about the 8300 and Wi-Fi. (But maybe I'm confused. I am so often!)

Oh yeah, I know. I was more responding to the initial post. I alway forget to quote it, though.
