Default Please Help!! Problem with Changing Device

Please Login to Remove!

Please help me, anyone.

My wife and I are using blackberries for our mean to communicate daily during work time. We happened to work far away from each other.

My wife has just sold her Javelin and she is using my Onyx 9700. While I bought a Pearl 9105.

However, during the purchase, there is mis-step in changing device procedure, I was told by a friend. According to the correct procedure: my Onyx should be changed to 9105 first before my wife's Javelin changed to Onyx. Since her Javelin has changed to Onyx first before my Pearl can be activated, now we have a weird problem.

The Problem: Everyday in the morning, my BBM pin always disappear from my wife's BBM. While my wife's pin didn't disappear from my BBM. So every morning, we need to add each other again and again.

What we have done so far:
- deactivate email (remote) backup
- delete and deactivate local backup
- reformat both blackberry units
- I have delete the link of my wife BB pin to my wife contact
Result: My pin keeps disappearing from my wife BBM in the morning.

Can anyone help us? What the heck is going on? The rests of the contacts in our BBM stay connected except for ours.

Please help, we prefer not to add each other every morning.

You need to log into your carrier's BIS portal for each of your accounts and enter the IMEI and PIN of the devices you're both now using. That will get your data plans pointed at the correct devices.
