I was on the site looking at phones with my daughter (her b-day is coming) when it was posted, so I filled out the contact me form so they'll send me an email when it's available. I hope they make it available to existing customers sooner then the 12th (wishful thinking).

I love those "we'll send you an email when it's available" pages. I've done that for a couple of devices and always had the device in hand before I ever get an email telling me it's available...lol

Yeah, I signed up just out of curiousity. I'll be at the store Tuesday morning to pick mine up, so we'll see if I get the e-mail before then.

I love Vodafone. I have dreams about Vodafone. Sometimes I just sit and stare at my little red Vodafone SIM card wishing we had a Vodafone network that covered the entire United States like the network in the UK. :(

T-Mobile is the next best thing here, so it is what I use.

Take this for what it's worth.

I talked to one of my manager friends at a tmob kiosk in a mall, and he assured me they will be allowed to sell the phone Monday morning. I asked him if he meant the 12th, and he said that was when they were supposed to start selling them, but they had been given permission to start selling them on Monday. He said they are running a promotion for all employess - sell 6, get a free 8100. So the reps are anxious to sell them.

Again - this guy could be completely wrong, but you can bet your ass I'll be at tmob on Monday morning. lol
