On the 8100 beta unit (not sure if it's w/ all of them or just specific ones)
when using the Camera if you press the END button to exit it will keep the camera on and can only be exited by restarting the unit. To exit properly you have to press the back key. Would this issue be resolved w/ a new OS that's final vsn?

Yes, that would be fixed in a software release. Depending on how early of a beta unit you received, you may have the final software release prior to retail.

That didn't even do that on my prototype and my joint was EARLY like June early...

Thanks for the info. I couldn't seem to download new software. I read in another thread it's out but for T Mobile managers with a demo. Can I somehow get the newest T Mobile OS so I can update it?

Patience grasshopper.. all good things come to those that wait.

I also say this to all the reviewers who reviewed the device... Although i found the multimedia software needing a lot of work, i'm certain a software upgrade in the future will alleviate those concerns..
