Default Contacts not synchronizing (?)

Please Login to Remove!

I'm on a BES and I'm having trouble synchronizing my contacts. I have 544 entries on my 7250, but my outlook has 547 entries (plus many changes to some entries). For some reason, the 7250 is synchronizing, but not picking up the contact pieces.

I've checked my Intellisync settings and it shows to synchronize the address book (see picture). Funny thing is that it was working, but now doesn't. Any suggestions, or should I open a ticket with my IT guys (last time I did that they asked what a BES was - obviously in the wrong group)?

Cool

I had a similar problem. Perform another enterprise activation.

Are there different ways to activate? I seem to recall my IT guys specifically telling me that the Enterprise Activation is not used by us, and they activated me from the server side. Does that make sense?

Go into the Blackberry Manager Desktop
1. Doubleclick on the Intellisync icon
2. Click on Configure PIM
3. Select the Address Book and click on Choose
4. Choose <none> from the list, then click OK
5. Click OK until you can exit the configuration menu.
6. Click the Close button.
7. Close the Desktop Manager software completely.
8. Remove the Blackberry from its cradle.

Redo steps 1 to 4 and wait for the browse button to appear. (It takes a moment.) Once it is there, select MS Outlook

Close the Blackberry software. Then, restart it.

Put Blackberry in cradle. Now, sync.

Well, Pierre, I must say you nailed it on your first post. I didn't think about resetting the contact reference this way, but it makes perfect sense, at it worked fine. Thank you!!
