I found Market Filters Analysis which seems to do the job. Anyone know anything about this application?

Not me. I use Stock Viewer, downloadable free from Welcome to Microhill
Search through this forum - this same question was asked not long ago...

It looks like Market Filter Analysis does the same thing? I noticed Microhill says its free but then the site says Trial version?

EDIT: I installed it and it does say free but for some reason I cant add my companys stock symbol with this application but it works fine with the other app I found.

Says "trial" but is not. I was able to add numerous symbols using the escape key on my 8310 Curve.

I can't add CPN to it. The interface isnt as easy as MFA but it does have more detail.

The Microhill website has a link to add missing Symbols. I "asked" them to add CPN.

I've asked Microhill to add a few symbols but not everything was added. I quit asking them.

I like the simplicity of MicroHill's app. It's very light (no unnecessary graphics or decoration) and it's just great for having a watchlist.

I love the fact that it shows both change and % change. Most apps only show one or the other at a time.

Stock Quote Viewer (Microhill)

Pros:
- Lightweight
- Lot of info on same screen
- Shows price change/% change together
- shows stock chart

Cons:
- delayed, sometimes an hour or so
- symbols are missing sometimes
- no portfolio tracking
- stock chart is an image/blurry, sometimes charts cannot be downloaded (Fn blocked error)

It's really interesting how Market Filters and Microhill's app look similar, at least the first screen. I thought they were from the same people at first.

I would love to see Market Filters add the "price change" value as well as the time of the quote on that first main screen. Then I would ditch Microhill's Stock Viewer.

Does anyone have any experience with the latest version of MFA?

I actually tried MFA and it's not a bad app. I still wish it had the price change (not only percentage) as well as the time of the quote.

But generally, the quotes were more recent than the microhill app. The chart could have more time ranges. It only seems to have it for the last several days.

If MFA can put in the price change and time stamp, I'm all good.

I'm a big fan of the Bloomberg App that's featured on App World.

Maybe you know this but one thing I don't like about the bloomberg app is that the main page only shows you two of the stocks on your portfolio is the price change/percentage/time/etc.

However, if you go to the stock screen, it shows you the "gain" view and no price change/etc. You have to click on the individual stock symbols to get that info.

Is there a way to get this info without seeing the individual stock's detailed info? Also, what's the delay like on the quote?

I don't think that there is. I've looked in the app for it also, but doesn't look like it's possible.

Figured out what was wrong. I thought I could enter multiple symbols like this "ibm csco". The app didn't like it and continued to complain and would not refresh the quotes after that. I re-installed thinking something was corrupt. It worked but it happened again. Turns out you have to delete the symbol if you see it in the watchlist (I couldn't) or just delete all symbols. That does the trick.

I emailed them this bug.

I'm looking for something that shows price change and change percentage... and better yet the timestamp in the main summary view.

Many of these apps have great detailed views but I like to scan my watchlist quickly first.
