Hi.

Both my wife and I have new Blackberry Curve 8520s. I wanted to send her some contacts that are in my Address Book, which she didn't have so I fowarded these by BBM. She was able to save these to her Address Book, but now she is unable to successfully save edits, or delete, those I sent her. After editing, when yo select "save" the message "Contact updated externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed." is displayed. Additionally, these contacts are not synchronised to Microsoft Outlook.

How can I overcome this problem?

It still leaves the question of how the corruption(s) occurred and in which database. I can edit and save the contacts in my own Contact database without problem, and we can edit and save any of the pre-existing contacts in my wife's Contact database without difficulty. The problem occurs only with contacts sent by BBM, after they've been sent, which seems to suugest that BBM is introducing the problem. (We have the latest version - 6.0.0.129.)
