How do you move a photo that has been sent to your BlackBerry 9650 into your picture file? I have looked through the online manual, but I cannot find any instructions on how to do this. Can you help? Much thanks.

If it has been sent as an attachment simply go onto the message, highlight the attachment and click, download attachment. It will then bring up a folder tree which is by default the pictures folder and press menu > select here. It should then appear in pictures.

Thanks, Sytner, but the picture comes to my email already opened.

Thanks, tsac, for pointing the "THANKS" button out to me. I never noticed it before and always thanked the person in my post. Is that not the right thing to do?

Now, would you be so kind as to tell me how to use the Desktop Manager? I am so new to the BlackBerry phone and I'm learning something all the time.

Any time someone is thanked no mater how it's a good thing. This is just a new thing the forum owner is trying.

Desktop manger download

BlackBerry - Support & Services then go to downloads

also on that page is the instructions on using the application. You will be ablw to move any photo from your pc to the photo folder on the BB or back.
it's called medai manager in DM

If it is contained opened within the email and not as an attachment you should be able to scroll onto/over the image and a marquee pattern should appear on the outside edges of it. Once it is like that you press menu-> full image(if it is there, if not just ignore this), and then save image.
You will be prompted as to where you wish to save it; pictures by default, click save and it will be saved there. You can access the picture with your computer by plugging the BB in and it'll appear as a drive in my computer.
Ensure Disk Mode is enabled on the BB (Options/Media Card).
