I just switched from an 8300 Curve to an 8310 Curve (all with AT&T). I used the Switch Device Wizard and everything worked like a charm except HTML emails on BIS. I have a GMail account set up on BIS (using IMAP) and I changed my pin within BIS so I do get email, just not in HTML. My BES email comes through in HTML with no problem. I've resent the Service Book 5 times but still no HTML emails on BIS. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Make sure you enable html in your email settings.

If that doesn't work. Delete your email acct and place back.

But you did upgrade your new Curve to 4.5 right? And you've done the normal battery pull.

Yeah, I think they have 4.3 out the box.

Thanks for all the replies! To answer a few...yes, I had upgraded to 4.5, I had checked the HTML box (actually it was already checked), and I did pull the battery. akosnitzky had the fix! I went into BIS, removed my GMail account, added it back in and resent the Service Book again. All is well!! Thanks again for all the help!

The same thing happened to me when I upgraded my Curve. I did nothing and after 24 hours my BIS email just stated to come through in HTML. Perhaps it takes a while for HTML to start with the BIS account. My BES email was all fine from the start.
