I've finally figured the correct way to install new software, ie via the Desktop Manager, and have installed Opera Mini.

DM told me the installation had gone according to plan, but there's no icon in the menu (or in Applications) for Opera.

I have rebooted uninstalled, reinstalled etc, is there some further step I need to take to complete the installation?

Hi,

From the main screen, go into the Downloads folder and the icon should be in there.
You can move it from there if you wish.

download it OTA from you Bold browser at http://operamini.com

Sorry for the hackjack thread,

I just download it for my BB 9000 and it say I need to contact my service provider because it won't work. I does it tests fine till about 7-11 and after this it says contact my service provider or check you internet settings
