I currently have 8700g and was looking at both 8800 and 8300. I was just wondering... what are the differences between 8300 and 8800? which one's "better"?

Depends on what you want from the device....

GPS = 8800
Camera = 8300

For me, now I've not seen either in person, though I guess I'll consider both when I'm at the store.....but-what did me in for wanting the curve was that it had a camera which is just a fun little feature and it also has expanded memory which I've always wanted.

There are dozens of threads about whether to get the 8300, 8800, stay with the 8100, wait for the 9xxx, etc. Also, I believe the BB web has a features comparison. That may be helpful to eliminate or include must have features, then come here and find the threads. Takes a little reading and figuring out what features you require. I d/n believe anyone can tell you which unit to buy.

Also, I see you are on TMo, so that may limit your choices, unless you are out of K or going to pay to get out.

For me personally, I am getting the 8300 - hopefully from TMo, but AT&T if necessary. I live in an area where coverage is pretty much the same for all carriers.
