Default I want to edit 7100 themes

Please Login to Remove!

How do i decrypt the theme files. I want to replace some graphics. I know others have done this in the past but had some errors.

I have some experience creating many many themes for pocket pc/ palm. I am currently using the 7200 vodaphone theme on my 7100t.

Please post all experience editing themes below. Hopefully i can get something rolling out sometime tonight or by tommorrow afternoon.

There are no tools to edit Themes.
There is no Theme Editor, although one was rumored a year ago.

To date there are no themes outside of those built for the carriers.

Not sure I would waste my time on this.

You can certainly change the wallpaper if you want to put your larva on your phone, but the themes are not editable.

I read in another thread here on blackberryforums.com that someone had contacted BlackBerry support about wanting to edit or change the default T-Mobile theme on their device. The response from support was that a new version of the Plazmic Content Developer's Kit would have a Theme utility that would allow users to create custom themes. No release date was provided though.

And there was also supposed to be a Theme Editor, and that was "announced" at least a year ago. I can't imagine this is a top priority for RIM right now. Sorry...

Interesting.... now that a link to 'Themes' exists on the Extras site at mobile.blackberry.com, I'm not so sure. (although it says 'coming soon' when you click on it). I guess those would likely be internally built themes as opposed to externally built themes. Perhaps you are correct.
