Default Not a Microsoft guy; how to sync?

Please Login to Remove!

Okay folks, me again,

New issue: we want to be able to sync her BB Pearl with the house laptop. However, I avoid Microsoft products like the plague. I poked around the setup and sync options, but did not see a way to sync her stuff with another program.

I ended up simply backing up her system onto the laptop.

Are there other programs that are not Microsoft related that will allow her to keep track of her calendar and contacts?

Thanks,

Jim

Hello,

The laptop came with Vista. My desktop has XP.

Are there other options for syncing, or am I SOL?

Well, Outlook is your best option, but you won't use it.
I don't think anyone feels comfortable recommending anything other than that for a Windows user.

You're using Windows. It doesn't make sense to avoid Microsoft products when you've chosen to use a Microsoft OS.

I am just curious why you say you avoid microsoft products like the plague but both computers you have mentioned use their OS? You are already using Microsoft, just use outlook, its the built in BB organizer was modeled after.
