I agree. Seems like it is 5 minutes on a reboot. Diring original installation, it seemed to take so long, I thought it was frozen and was going to do a battery pull, just to wake it up. It may be slightly faster after the original installation, but I think this is the longest to reboot of any OS, and I have installed almost all of the officially sanctioned OSs.

The install / reboot was relatively quick and painless. Now that I am past the install, I can reboot my Bold in under 2 minutes...

I am a new member, but have been using BBF 9000-BOLD forum for information since I got my new Bold near the start of 2009. My home is in an area with extremely poor reception for all carriers - AT&T is one of the few that is even usable. After having endless trouble with my stock Bold, and having tried almost every official and unoffical release posted here (not the betas), I believe that this 301 version is far and away the best -- not even close. The phone has better sound quality, better reception, better selects and holds EDGE vs 3G depending on the signal quality, runs faster in nearly ever aspect than it has since I've owned it since I loaded this release 4 days aog.

Wirelessly posted (BOLD)

Have been using for a week now and find battery drains really fast. I do not have any apps except yahoo and facebook. Also after a couple of minutes on a call you can't keep the phone near your ear. It is very hot and I have tried two other batteries just incase I had one going bad.

I've had this for a month now, so far so good. Browsing is definitely faster compared to .282. Overall, I'm happy with this version.

I'm just hoping they release v5 real soon!!
