Can someone please assist me in getting an exisiting post\thread moved to a different forum (The BES section) please as I believe my post would get better coverage than in the forum it is currently in.

I have setup a blackberry 8520 using our Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).

The blackberry setup completes without error as does the enterprise activation on the device.

Everything works ok on the Blackberry except for the calendar which does NOT synch across any changes to the outlook desktop. If a change(eg new entry) is made on the users outlook desktop it DOES get synched across to the Blackberry. If the calendar entry is then deleted on the blackberry it gets synched across to the desktop.

The problem is only in one direction eg from the Blackberry to the desktop.

So far I have removed the user from the BES and restarted the BES. Added the user back in to the BES. Wiped the handheld and run the enterprise activation but the problem still exists.

We have set the same user up on several Blackberry devices with the same result each time. It seems user specific.

This seems to be an isolated problem as we have approximately 20 Blackberry users using BES and all dont have any issues.

Any help would be appreciated as I need to resolve this problem.

Thanks

Hello,

Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise (mapi.dll version 6.5.7638.1)
CDO.dll version on BES 6.5.7638.2 (BES is on seperate Windows 2000 Server SP4)

Just to reiterate that this issue is happening with just one particular user (the other 19 don't have this issue). We have set the user up on several Blackberry device and the same issue occurs each time.

We do appreciate your interest in assisting us with this problem.

Regards

are you using ESM or CDO on BES?

If using ESM, run a microsoft update, not windows to get it updated.
you might also have to recreate the MAPI profile once done.
