Hey guys,

The name's Tom and have been a BB user for longer than I can remember!

I've just got my hands on a 9800 Touch as my Storm is on its last legs!


Problem is, its locked to the Vodaphone UK network and I am on the O2UK network.

I've payed for the BB Unlock service on this forum (i don't trust 0.99p unlocks on eBay!), but I've not received my MEP code yet, I think its been about 5 hours. Just wondered how long it took normally to receive my code?

I'm desperate to fire this Touch up and get using it!

Did you provide all of the information required for the unlock?

Once you fire up the device, don't forget to have BB data plan/tariff/bolt on added to your account so that you can use all of the BB features.

Yep! I provided the model number, the IMEI and the network it was locked on!

I start my new BB contract on the 1st of June - looking forward to using the features again! I didn't have them on my storm (went to an iPhone, hated it and bought a storm! But luckily that contract ends in a few days!)
