Is the phone unlocked?

I know many phones if unlocked you cant download MMS because you have to change the data connection to the connection of the service provider you are using, unless you have the service of who the phone is made for...

IDK if Blackberry automatically does this, or even if your phone is unlocked.

Just that could be a reason if the phone is unlocked.

What OS version is on the device?
What format is the file?
Do you have a data plan?

Seems your curve doesn't support the codecs in the video files.
