Default Picture sort Order in BB Picture Folder

Please Login to Remove!

When I attach a picture to an email, I have to scroll through to the bottom of the BB picture folder. Scrolling is slow because the BB is loading little thumbnails of my images as I go. Is there a way of having that folder set up that the latest picture is top instead of bottom? That is can I set the folder to always sort in latest to earlies rather than the other way around

i agree, i have the same issue. i dont think its possible to change the viewing arrangement.

however here is workaround might be useful for you.

go to pictures, open the picture first, click the menu button, and then email through there, its much easier to through media to find the picture rather than going through the tiny thumbnail while attaching file.

the other things is i have learned to folder my pictures every once in a while, only keep a few pictures in the main folder.

One small thing you can do is change "view thumbnails" to "view titles". You will see a small pic but it loads faster. Helps if you rename photos from original name to something you recognize,i.e., "Grandkids" or "rose".

Thanks for the help everyone. Looks like the best option is to folder pictures when I take them.

Default didn't notice this..

but I use that other method that focus was talking about - I always send a picture via email, rather than attach pictures to email. But I usually just send 1 picture in an email (to flickr)...doing more than one photo wouldn't scale.

But the media app allows you to adjust the sort and define how many thumbs per row, making finding the right image pretty easy.

You can set it so the most recent pix are at the top. Just mess with the app, it's there but I forgot where.
