Default Web Icon Goes to BB Mobile site

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I've just started to experience a rather aggravating issue after upgrading to .337. When I click on the Washington Post icon and several others like Slate or ABC News I am directed to: mobile.blackberry.com

I cannot figure out why this happening. Any ideas?

Thanks

Not familiar with the .337 release - have you tried navigating to one of the sites and just saving it as a favorite? If that works, you can delete your old icons. Good luck.

Try downloading this Washington post OTA link let me know if it works,if it does not work its .337 OS try upgrading to .450

just FYI I had a news app icon when running .246 and installed just fine, when I upgraded to .337 the app icon became incompatible.

FYI I am running washington post on .450 with no problems.

If I was redirected from the Washington Post or ABC news, I would be greatful. I consider that a feature.

I had the same issue with an ESPN icon that was put on my BB by the OS. I could not delete it, didn't want it. When I clicked on it, took me to the same site. I finally hid the icon and forgot about it until now. Weird!
