Hello,

I have a blackberry 7130e, and was wondering-is there a way to change profiles quickly without having to go into the profile menu each time?

What I would like to do is the following:
During the day while at work, I have vibrate alerts for everything. After work on the way home, I would like to have a ringtone, even while the unit is in the holster. Finally, in the evening, I would like to change it back to vibrating alerts.

If you only want to switch between ringtones and vibrate, set the normal profile for the ringtones you want, and the vibrate profile for the vibrate settings you want. You can toggle between the two profiles by pressing and holding the # key.

One more question-How long do I need to press the # button, and is there any way to check that the profile has changed?

If you're on the home screen and depending on the theme you have installed, the icon for Profiles should change.

if you hit F key it will display the profiles and will tell you what profile is in use.
