You will need Outlook installed on your computer. This is a seperate program from Microsoft and not included with the BB.
I got this from nextel.com, there are alot of
Guides & Tutorials. If you new to the BB and unfamiliar, I suggest reading them first.
The user specific information in the Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Memo applications found in most PDAs and PIMs can be transferred by:
1- If a PDA is used, connect it to the computer.
2- Synchronize and backup the old PDA with the PIM that is being used.
3- Disconnect the old handheld and connect the 7100i to the computer by using its USB cable.
4- Access the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
5- Select and double click Intellisync.
6- In the Configuration dialogue box, select Configure PIM
7- In the Tasks dialogue box, Click Choose.
8- In the Available Application dialogue box, select the PIM that is currently being used.
9- In the Operation dialogue box, select Synchronize.
10- Click OK.
11- At the Handheld Application screen, check and select Address Book.
12- Click Configure and select the desired settings.
13- Optional: When completed, repeat steps 10 and 11 for Calendar, MemoPad and Tasks if they are to be transferred/synched .
14- Click OK.
15- At the Intellisync main window, check Synchronize PIM in the Synchronize Now dialogue box.
16- Click on Synchronize Now button to transfer contacts from the desktop PIM to the BlackBerry device.
Hope this helps .....
