I am running Windows Vista 64-bit and wanted to upgrade to v5.0. I tried finding the file after I downloaded the software to my computer but couldn't find it. Can someone please tell me how to do this on Windows Vista.

I am surprise there has been no new firmware updates for a while. I guess all BOLD 9000 support has stopped?

Default What are the known issues with this release?

Currently on the latest 822 release but with the major bug in ringers/alerts it is not acceptable as a working release. Looking to go back to find the best 5.0 version for basic fundamental smart phone use. I am less concerned with memory leaks and much more concerned about the basics like voice quality, alerts working etc.

What are the known issues with this release? Is the voice jitter problem found in this build?

Thanks.

You can't possibly ignore memory leaks. There are OS builds out there for the 9000 that bring available memory down to 0KB. So although voice quality might be great the phone is rendered non usable since the spinning wheel won't even allow you to unlock. The "basics" you're after are directly linked to available memory.

Is .681 one of these OS builds that bring memory down to 0?

What issues has anyone had with this particular release???

While far from perfect, so far this is the best 5.x release I have used on my 9000. No voice jitter like with earlier versions, no issues with ringers going silent like .822. I am still testing it so if I do run into any issues I will certainly post.

Would love to hear from others what issues they have seen in this release.
