Since at&t borked my upgrade date for no apparent reason (it had been Nov. 25 for nearly a year when I last upgraded, then last week it was inexplicably moved to April 25, 2009, so no exception upgrade option either) I am going to fork over full price for the Bold. I don't care. I just want the damn thing. How much is full price, ezrunner?

Great, I didn't even think about that. I'm eligible 9/26/09 for an upgrade. Now I have another reason to be depressed, thanks a lot quillhill! jk

I am in a similar situation here. I just went over to the store and they told me $549.99 was the full price. They weren't sure if I would get the $100 instant rebate of not.

So if I truely have to pay the full $549.99, would there be any reason to not just get one on Ebay? I mean, do I get anything by buying directly from AT&T?

Just picked one up. Apparently there's some hype... the lady at the store asked me if I was the one calling every 10 minutes about it. I said "I have a job."

heh.

So far, this is working quite nicely.

They're selling them in AZ. The store I was at had already sold out. They've been told: if you got them, sell them.

Wirelessly posted

I got an email from a rep that I know at my local AT&T store. He has them in stock and he can sell them now and not have to wait until tomorrow. I can do an exceptional upgrade, but I may just wait until 1/2/2009 when my wife's line is eligible for an upgrade. And who knows, the price could drop by then

Wirelessly posted (Curve 8310)

I have to wait until I'm eligible - my wife would drop dead if I even mention the idea of dropping $500 for what she sees as a "phone" - she doesn't get it ;)
