Mine will end up being $200 too. I was fully expecting to wait for a price drop but since I hadn't upgraded for a while I got an additional $100 off. I didn't even know that was offered and I was still rockin' the 8700, that made my day and I picked one up.

I can't say, but I know that's what I paid. For $199 is was well worth my trip to the store this AM....bye-bye 8300 hello 3G bold!!!!

Default the bold is the bomb

As I write this little blurb from the new BB 9000. The keyboard is very easy and fast to type on. The screen is amazing. Videos look better than iphone even on you tube. Wifi is amazing and have connected to my home router as well as my neighbors across the street, which my laptop can't even do! I am using the free hotspot wifi at barnes and noble right now.
3g signal is amazing haven't lost it since getting the phone setup at 10 this morning. The included theme is very bright and easy to use.
Over all the price I paid 549.99 full retail was well worth it! More to come!

Oh and in case you didn't know, I purchased the phone today at 10 am EST in Brick, NJ at a COR store.

I picked mine up at the La Cumbre AT&T store in Santa Barbara this morning. The girl I worked with sent me an E-mail at 8:30 to let me know they had a total of six (6) of them in the store and that she was holding one for me. I went in a few minutes after they opened, and was in line behind two other Bold purchasers. I am sure they sold out within the hour. I got mine though ;)

Wooooooohoooooo! Sweet. I just returned to the office with mine. A very nice corp store rep in Issaquah named Jair totally helped me out despite the craziness with my upgrade. Smooth, easy, excellent customer service. I'll be taking two new lines to him Thanksgiving weekend. Put on the BSE screen protector and the red OEM skin I got (the one benefit of the Bold coming out on Rogers in August, accessories are aplenty on ebay). Now I am just trying to get it set up. Yay! *clap*

Wirelessly posted (Curve 8310)

Uptown, I could be wrong but I think it depends on the retailer; someone posted earlier Best Buy is selling it for $350

Can someone tell me what kind of Carry case and what other things come in the box. Is it a belt clip holder or a leather holster like the curve?

Noooo Not belt clip that's so cheap that's so bad to get that for a 500+ phone. and Now i see for 69.99 they sell a sleeve how nice is that. I think Rim is getting in the biz of screwing its loyal customers.

My wording was bad - I paid $515 because it was an early upgrade as in VERY early, about 2 months into a new 2yr (after iphone) ... but the phone still had $100 rebate so $415 total.

Talking Re: Got my Bold!!

. . .Got mine this morning in Washington, D.C. I was surprised that there was no line at all and the whole process took about 45 minutes! Awesome phone. . .I've just got to get my email accounts set up and I'm ready to roll!
