Not all apps will have an LED colour option.
If you can't find an option, it isnt there.
I believe I read that ne of the 3rd party BB apps allows the changing of colours, but I cant remember what its called. BBLights or BBAlerts...something similar like that

Ok the app is called BBAlerts, but it is not free. (May say only curve compatible but someone has loaded it to a bold and it works. search forums for the BBAlerts threads)
And there is no FREE app that will do that.

Berrybuzz just came out. Does exactly what you're looking for and enables vibe+ring too. I use it and it works great. You can also set it so that in addition to a color LED notification it alerts you every x amount of time until you check the alerts. There are a whole bunch of colors to choose from. I actually didn't know our Blackberries have so many differently colored LED's until I came across this app. It doesn't, however, change LEDs for Voicemails or RIM Instant Messenger apps (and BBM PIN messages for some) yet, but it's a fairly new app so perhaps an update will come soon to address those issues. It's also very inexpensive ~7.00. Over at crackberry they had a 50% off sale, but I don't know if that promotion is still going on.

Not unless you use colored plastic or tape. The original 8100 was the only BB with colored LED's below the trackball.

i decided to try Missinglight, and after it takes over LED function to change the color (purple), it does not reset the LED to normal....had to reset the phone or turn off/on radio to get the LED to work properly again....

i once had a samsung phone that allowed me to change the LED color to one of several colors, the dam thing was bright too....

i wish RIM introduced color changing into the OS, such as if i wanted a red blink or orange blink...

BerryBuzz is what your looking for. It has a customizable LED for missed call, incoming call, all your emails, calenders etc... With the new version out, you can now preview the colours before you set them

alertmatrix I hear works pretty well(maybe a tad bit of overkill) but can change color based upon email/pin title as well as email/pin/txt/phone call by specific contact user(rule configured)

Is berrybuzz free?

I heard bbalerts is hit or miss on the newer bb os and hasn't been updated in a long time...(not supported officially support on 0S v5+)

Unless I'm misinformed....

About to buy something that modifies but I wish alertmatrix could control and link LED color notifications based upon "profile events"? does anyone know what I mean?
Like setting it so twitterberry would vibe once and flash yellow on a friend update?

Does anything do this?
