Found this app this morning and Love it! However, I have tried replying to an incoming text like normal and then when I get to 159 characters, i hit the menu and choose Beyond 160. Well it switches to Beyond 160 program but it FREEZES up? Has anyone been having these same issues and if so how do I get around it? I want to be able to use this app to its fullest potential but this makes it a nuisance.

Welcome to the forums.

I do not have that issue. I would try removing the battery for 30 seconds (with the device powered on) and see if the problem persists.

did that for sure first. still seems to freeze. strangeness

I just tried this on mine again and not an issue.

Does this happen when you compose a new message, or just reply? is it happening to one contact or multiple?

Jtr, sounds like the permissions weren't set right. Do this:

1. Go to your BlackBerry Options --> Security Options --> Application Permissions --> Beyond160

2. Open the menu and choose "Edit Permissions"

3. Set all three categories to "Allow". Then exit and Save.

4. Pull your battery to do a reboot.

Awesome, just had the exact same problem = fixed. Great program, found it from your other thread about the 160 character limit. Geekydad you really should post more.
