As for Virgin mobile, I can't wait to see how that one works out.

Virgin Mobile Canada has been on the HSPA network for almost a year now and they cover almost 90% of the country, they also carry the iPhone.

Virgin Mobile Canada is part of Bell Mobility

I find the 9800 an encouraging new model. The styling is nice & clean. I'm glad to see that RIM didn't do anything odd with the battery door. I can't wait to get rid of my 9000, with it's ugly batt door. I wonder if memory leaks will finally be gone. All in all I'm eager to read some reviews.

Hopefully they will deliver it with a finished OS, so we don't have a repeat of the OS Debacle that we had with the 9000. It's a shame too. The six new BlackBerry's I bought in the four years leading up to the 9000, were all very nice, reliable devices. I bought the 9000 upon it's release and that taught me that even an excellent company like RIM, cannot be trusted to not backslide & let quality go. So this time instead of trusting them to deliver reliability (notice I did not say perfection) I'm going to have to wait & let others be the test mules.

Once they've proven the basics function properly, I'm a buyer.

Regarding the processor...I find it strange that the 9800 utilizes the same 624MHz processor that the almost 1 yr old 9700 and almost 2 yr old 9000.
Don't get me wrong...i'm already in line to get one...just seems like a bump is warranted.
