I know this defeats the purpose of having a BB, but suppose you are out of town, and want to turn off your e-mail service ... can this be done without turning off the entire wireless service (i.e. turning off your phone too)? I cannot seem to find any way to do this other than deleting the e-mail accounts from BIS, but I'd rather just temporarily deactivate it.

Delete the Webclient service book. When you want to start getting your emails, go back into the BIS, and resend yourself a service book.

-> go to "Email Filters"
-> change "If no filters apply, send email to handheld:" to "NO"

-> go to "Email Reconciliation"
-> change "Wireless Reconcile" to "Off"
