Do you have a BB data plan on your account? Some carriers require that before pushing the WiFi service books.

Does the BB support that access point? Did you check with the manufacturer to verify it?

I will repeat the question - do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan on your account.
Please answer that first.

It is relevant because if you do not have a BlackBerry data plan from your carrier (Mobily KSA, I assume), your device will never function properly, including over WiFi.

No, it's actually quite simple. Get a BlackBerry data plan and the device functions properly. BlackBerry is primarily a service, and the devices are meant to be used with that service and are set up as such. They are not regular mobiles.

Having used TP Link devices when I lived in the Middle East, I have found them to be pretty dodgy. Do you have this device set up as just an AP or also as a router? Also, to what type of Internet is it connected?

well... i dunno exactly what i did there..

all i know that i made a bridge connection between my lan network (DSL) and my wireless adapter and i created a "wireless ad hoc" <-- i have no idea what means... anyway i named it and made the encryption type "WEP"

any other device can detect and use this but my BB cant and whats weirder that my BB can detect and use other connections like my router and my hotspot connection from my iPhone

Ok, ad-hoc definitely won't work. That's the issue.

What exactly are you trying to do with the TP Link? Are you simply trying to extend your network to another part of your home/office?

Then you'll need to get an access point that connects via Ethernet cable to your router. If you can buy a Linksys instead of TP Link, you'll be much better off.

Yes, most routers can be set to just be APs.
