One additional thought, Download the Desktop manager from RIM. IT's a free program that will allow you to update your OS on the blackberry easy via a pc. You did not indicate if you are doing this over the air but if your are it may be why it is failing.

Neither the one link I can not take off my OS, unfortunately, I have already explained why, and as for links to torrent them have at least 5 but not a single tracker. No help me unless someone wants to download the latest version of OS for my BB 8120 Pearl. I do not understand why no one wants us to do? Am I too free to ask? You are not following the directions given MANY TIMES above. The problem is not with the instructions.

We do not work for the company that makes the BlackBerrys. We are all volunteers - some getting VERY frustrated - as you seem unwilling to follow MULTIPLE sets of instructions on how to download the software.

My BB has an error 507 which means you have no OS. Because of these errors desktop manager does not recognize the phone and can not connect. I know all this to process but can not connect to Desktop Manager for errors 507 I need my OS again can someone send me

Something else is going on. I was able to get any download from virtually any country. Are you on any form of restricted internet? You should not be having any issues downloading.

They obviously have some kind of restricted access to the internet. Otherwise at least one of those links would have worked.

I just find it a bit strange that the DM was able to be downloaded, but not any type of OS.

It does sound a bit weird but I would suspect a restricted access or simply a miss step in following the instructions. Some carriers do check to see if your a customer but most do not including RIM.

I just tried downloading some OS 5.x.x.xxx from an African carrier, and after entering all my real information (Canadian address and all that), was able to download no problem.

I think the OP is going to T Serbia and trying to find the OS for their 8120, even though they do not carry that model.
