I have the original Storm (9530) on Verizon. During the past few weeks, it just turns off for no apparent reason.

I then have to remove battery and it reboots working fine. However, this is starting to happen more frequently.

Any idea on what I can do to resolve?

How much free memory do you have?

Total memory says 879MB total space and 9MB free space. Is that the problem? How do I free up memory?

The battery was replaced about 6 months ago. I don't think that's the issue but I will get a replacement.

To answer your question, call T-Mo and have then add a BB data plan to your account. See the yellow sticky at the top of the 9500 section for how to get the service books.
