Please help!
I am a military guy on a very low profile, highly trained team of specialist. I am the Commo guy, so somehow that means I can field and service all my teams Blackberrys... (thank God I have been reading this site for years)
I am not the BES admin, and we are not allowed to sync through our desktops at all.
Earlier today my Commander on TDY called me having problems on his curve, with Verizon service. I contacted our BB Admin, and he set his account to reactivate to the BES. My commander wiped his phone and successfully preformed Enterprise Activation. I thought all his emails would re-populate, but they have not. Huge problem, he has been out of the office for two months and is going to be gone for a while yet. I need to get him his emails, on his phone.
How can I do this? Is there anyway to do this from the phone itself? If the user absolutely can not do it from the phone, is there a way for the BB admin to push it out?
Thanks all
I tried searching first but all the relevant post I found were several years old.
The only way to repopulate old mail is to have him removed from BES, add him back to BES, then perform activation. This will not get back all his old mail, only what the server is set to send back. Default is 5 days or 200 messages.
Thanks! I will contact the BES admin and see if I can talk him into doing that for me.
for future reference: How can I have users save the emails that are currently on the phone? I can't connect to to a desktop; can I save the emails in "bulk" to the Micro SD card? I have new bolds waiting for my team to migrate to, I know this is going to come up.
