I Have A Blackberry Curve 8520 On Virgin And When I Switch It On It's Grps In The Top Right Hand Corner And Internet,bbm Is Working Then After A Few Minutes Of It Being On It Switches To Gsm No Longer Can I Go On The Internet Or Bbm Doesn't Send Or Get Sent! Help As It Is Really Annoying As I Wanted A Blackberry For Bbm And Internet!

Sounds like you're in a bad network coverage area. Nothing can help that except your carrier building out the network with more towers.

This is a wireless coverage issue. Your BlackBerry receiving a signal for data. Take a look at KB02334-Network status indicators from the GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G networks

Try a hard rest--a battery pull with the power on, for at 30 seconds. See if that corrects the problem.

When you have only a GSM connection you have only voice and the device is not connecting to data at all. When you have GPRS, you have data and your are connected to RIM's system.

EDIT: What the others said above. I also think it is network issue. The hard reset will correct any weird software hiccup, if that is the issue.
