Hi all--> i recently worked out to use the GPS properly and i see if i plot a route it gives me the directions in words. Is there a way i could get voice guided directions like your GARMIN's and TOM TOM's as i am a sales rep and thought if the BB has it why should i but a navigation system.

Garmin has an BB app with voice. Not free though.

This has been asked alot, did you search in the GPS forum?

No i never searched i won't lie....

I founf the thread here and see you must pay for Garmin--> for intrest i just found an application for voice guiding on the internet and it is FREE. Haven't tried it yet as i need to go out quickly but will check it out and see how well it works or doesn't work....

What's the name of it?

TeleNav is really the best there is in voice guided, turn by turn navigation.
It's not free, but you also won't find one more accurate, easy to use and with great features.

Use the "Search this Forum" tool towards top right of the GPS & Mapping forum and search for "amaze". You will see what others have posted regarding the app.
