I find some interesting magazine, where you can find interesting articles about mobile security, for example:
-Mobile device security
-FORENSICS investigation & mobile forensics - WhatsApp
-PENETRATION TESTING - mobile Pen-testing & Pen-testing Techniques with the Use of Smart Phones
Really interesting staff, it is some penetration testing magazine, but about mobile security.. a lot of practical knowledge

From the Home screen, select Options. Scroll to and select Security Options. Select Encryption. Change the Encryption mode from Enabled to Disabled. Press the Menu key. Select Save. Read more: How to turn content protection off on a blackberry storm? - Tried to use app world from the pc but now its saying the device cant connect because content protection is on.

Can someone explain to me how, if I enable encryption on my Storm 2 9550, and someone gets my device before the password protection time-out has operated (ie. 30 minutes) my files are secure and inaccessible.

I don't understand how encryption is any more secure than the device's password if to decrypt only requires knowledge of the device's password.

I must be missing something here

Please advise, thanks.
Ross
