Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

There are a few other threads on the subject. Take a business card and either cut it to fit or fold it in half and place it on top of the battery. Put cover back on and it is rock solid.

yeah i posted about it yesterday i think? I just did the card trick and it's now stiff but feels like the top of the door is a little raised... Guess beggers can't be choosers? I've thought about returning the device but concered the next one will be like it to...

I put some cotton in between rather than a business card. It works as well, plus no raised door.
