Unhappy internet and email setup issues with international SIM card

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
this is the story: I use a BB 8100 with an international SIM card from Telestial (telestial.com) , except for the data, it works great! ...

With this card, I should also be able to use data though even after doing the proper configuration in my BB, I still don't have any browser or personal email setup icon.. (telestial's configuration paper is'nt in attachment 'cause I can't post any attachment!!. tell me if you really want it I will find a way!)

I know I should'nt have any browser icon since I did'nt register to BIS or whatever, but I just don't understand what I have to do then. Do I have to install an other browser such as Opera? But even if do that, I still would'nt have any (personnal email setup) option!...

Some help would be appreciated!

Alex

You need BIS in order to get the BlackBerry Browser and Email Set Up icons.
There is no way around that.

Opera might work, but as you said, it's only a browser and still doesn't help with your email.
