one quick question...

Can I say that if my phone is able to send a ETP message to the email I use for activation this means that my carrier did well the BES Data Plan provisioning or is it thatany phone, even with only a BIS plan, will send an ETP message when EA is being done? With the difference that BIS only phone won't succeed in EA...

Your phone doesn't actually send an ETP message. The ETP message is sent from RIM to the email address that is entered when you initiate an Enterprise Activation.

Really the only way to tell if your device is provisioned correctly for BES is to try the activation and if it fails, contact your carrier.

Oki, so got another guy on the phone from my provider and it appeared that the BIS provisioning... Doesn't include BES provisioning with them.
My previous carrier provisioned both at the same time, not the new one.

So, asked to provision BES and now I'm fine.

So, to answer my question, even if the ETP message is sent, doesn't mean the phone is actually BES provisioned.

Yes, if the ETP message is sent, then it is provisioned for BES (sorry missed your last question).

The ETP message is only used by the BES, not BIS.

And you really shouldnt even SEE the ETP message. In theory, it should hit your Inbox and delete almost instantly.
