Default Level 1 message set up

Please Login to Remove!

I did try some searches and I did look in the manual but could not find specific, and clear, instructions, so please bear with me:

I have a 7290 BES connected.
I want to set up e-mails from my manager and next level manager to be LEvel 1 messages (I think, based on my understanding that these could give a different tone based on profile settings for level 1 messages).

Can someone please let me know if my above assumption on what it does is correct and please give some pointers (i.e., settings) to set this up.

Thanks.
Steve

Go to Messages > Options > Email Filters > New.
Create a new filter for each person you want to have Level 1 notification. At the bottom select Forward and then Forward with Level 1 Notificaion. See sample picture.

in the prom field do I put the name or the e-mail address (it would be someone in my company and, hence, in exchange)

Once this is done, do I just then go to profiles, level 1 messages and set the profile tone, etc for level 1?

Arrow Same thing for BWC

So I take it there is nothing I can do for BWC that does the same thing as this.

you can set it up on the BWC client online under the options menu. Exactly the same filter set-up is available online.

Yeah I was thinking about that after I sent it. Just have it sent as a Level 1 message and forward it to the handeld and specify the tone from the BB. I thought if it afterwards cause I am a "tard".

Thanks Shane.

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.16)

Correct Codyman, that is all you have to do. Now all messages that come in will be in bold from those in Level 1. pink
