How to Properly close apps on Bold
Please Login to Remove!
I've heard that there is a special way to close apps on the bold other than just pressing the red hang up button...is there? Cause I have not been doing it the right way if there is...
Thanks

Not just the Bold. All BB's! Never use the Red End key as it just places the application in the background. Always use Menu>End (Or close).

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)
Press the menu button and scroll to close for each open app
To view open apps press alt+back key

Make sure you press and HOLD this key. It will work on most apps, not all.

this will sound possibly stupid, but i dont need to HOLD the escape key to close apps.
open calendar, click escape, it closes.
open WLM click escape and it closes....

Try doing it in Opera Mini, or the BB Browser. It will work in some applications, not in all.

In the BB browser, tapping the ESC button takes you back one page. Tapping will close the app if you've worked your way back to the first page you opened or the home screen (or start page, whichever you've selected as Home). If you want to close the browser without having to work your way back, holding the button down or using the menu to select close is required.

Is there a setting that must be changed for this to work? I just tried this with Viigo and it did not close. I confirmed that it was still open by the Alt+Escape method. I absolutely hate using the menu button and scrolling to the bottom to close each application that is running. If there is a setting please advise where it is.
Thanks,

Erm, there is a setting in Viigo under menu-options (or configure or something like that) i believe, which you check a box on something like close on escape instead of background.
