no need to use a software. The software flashes your phone, therefore causing permanent damage to your phone, the better solution would be a unlock code which is legal, there shouldn't be any problems with unlocking.

How does the blackberry software being installed cause permanent damage? Also this phone is not locked and can be used on any GSM carrier.
