Default ATT mini icons at top of home screen question?

Please Login to Remove!

Top left I see mic for profiles
envelope for messages
cassete for voice mail

but what the heck is the little orange globe for with a "1" in front?

I just bought via my BB some answer tones, is that a reason? Have never seen this icon show before.

Hey Jelly Bean! Does it have a red star on it? Sounds like you have a BB Messenger Message (probably and invite from someone). Go in the Application that has a "Speech Bubble" and you should find it in there.

Otherwise, it may be a WAP push message but I thought those were Blue. To check that Message Folder>Menu>View Folder>WAP Message Folder

Orange Globe could be JiveTalk, but I don't think it shows a number.

Does it have Push-To-Talk (PTT) enabled? I had some kind of weird icon on my Curve screen a while back (can't remember what it was), but it sounds familiar.

no push to talk!

one thing I did notice, when my phone loses 3 G and goes to edge, it disappears, when it goes back to 3 G, the globe is there, still with the #1 there

Sounds like a web request that you saved at some point when you had no service and tried to access the web. I dont remember exactly how to get rid of it but check your browser history or options page.

Try this thread: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...t-message.html

Is that the icon you are talking about?
