Hello, my Blackberry Tour 9630 was dropped and the screen is completely ruined. I took it in to the Verizon Store to see if they could get me a new one and put all of the data from the old one, on my new one. They said that they could NOT, because the screen was broken and they couldn't see what they were doing.
Is that the only way to pull all of my data off my phone and onto the new one?
My entire business is on that phone, and am I gonna have to start from scratch?
if you don't have Desktop Manager just go on your computer and look for Blackberry Desktop Manager. Its a free download and hook your Tour up to it with a USB cord...follow the directions and it should lead you to recover almost everything without need for the screen
No, my Mom managed to get the Bold for free from the guy at the Verizon store...
But here is a new problem... I installed the desktop manager, and all... But when I press 'back up' and choose where to save it and then choose my device (USB: Blackberry 9630) it doesnt do anything. There is a window with two bars that flashes for just a second... and that's it.
