No. It cannot be done. This is for security reasons. You will have to wipe your phone and then punch yourself in the face for not backing up your phone.

Welcome to the site. Correct. Cut your losses. Learn your lesson. To be positive, this is a great feature had your device been stolen. Nonetheless, unless you have password, you will have to wipe the phone.

I'd give the kids a chance to play with it somemore. They stand a better chance of guessing the password. Thats about the only way you'll get your data. BTW, default is 10 tries I think. Then your problem is definitely solved.

Always baffles me how many people have so much "important stuff" on their phones and then fail to do a simple backup. I backup my phone weekly and back up my SD card monthly (and after important additions).

This is an object lesson in BlackBerry Best Practices.

1. Backup as often as you can possibly stand. Then backup more.
2. Don't let kids play with your BB if it's important. Sometimes ya gotta say "no".
3. Put a password on your BB the second you boot it up for the first time. You can then disable the password if you absolutely insist, but at least no one else can set a password or change yours and lock you out of your own device.
