Hello,

I have a problem with my bb
I dropped my bb and now there
Are collored stripes on my
Screen but when i push gentle
On the bb logo above the screen
Its gone an when release its back
Soo the screen is not broke right?
Didnt have the right tools to
Open my bb soo asked here for
Som feedback first what do you
People think whats going on?

Most likely it's damaged but not catastrophically so. The glass layers within the screen are probably separated slightly. That's why when you push the logo just above the screen the lines disappear. You're pushing the screen back together. There's nothing for it but to replace the screen. You'd have to ask a repair shop what they'd charge for the job.

Even a soft drop can damage the screen. It is definitely a hardware problem, not software. Pushing on the top of the BlackBerry on the logo confirms that it's a screen problem.

or maybe its in the flex connector or female flex connector loosen when u drop it.....

That would make the screen flicker or cut out. The stripes tell me something is bored within the screen itself.

i usually doing this practice,you are right also,but i dont think a single drop can raster the screen?unless the LCD are too old to broke that easily....i use to have a initial troubleshooting on my own before i send my item to repair shop...its just my opinion..not intend to offend anyone..cheers...

My husbands BB did the dame thing, exactly. He took it to Verizon techs, and they said the same thing as rambo47. They told he would have to replace it.

if its still under warranty dont hesitate to send to the repair shop where you bought it...

Definitely! No matter what the cause, exchange it if it's covered by a warranty. Let it be their problem, not yours.
