In fact I use the BB and th iphone simultanously. I have 2 plans since I have 2 workplaces at the same time and one of them provided a BB and the other the iphone (I could choose the phones in both cases).
My first pick was the iphone about 2 years ago, and just recently got the BB. My thought was "why not try this BB thing". If it's not good, then I can get something else after a year. None of the companies plan to use BES in the near future, but nothing is sure (after all, using BES would be my decision but I am very far from understanding the whole service and the costs, so getting a BB phone first was a good idea about trying). I am now going to acquire as much information as I can about out mobile service provider's solutions about server renting and BES options, then in a year we have to make a final decision about to move to BES or something else.
So "BB-ing" is a part of a learning project for me
