I saw that, seems limited to only viewing three cities and two different views like current conditions and a compact daily forecast.

Nice.

i like the looks but man, it's a resource hog compared to bbweather.

gotta pay for those pixels somehow, i guess. sucks because i'm so torn... i prefer aesthetics but not at the cost of doubling my average ram usage. i'll give it a week. *sigh*

I have the paid version, and with all of the options, settings and graphics, and all of the other applications I have installed, I still have 124MB available on my 9700.

I understand the concern, but the newer devices have sufficient memory to run applications like BeWeather Free.

It is a bit of hog my 8330, but I find it way worth it.

Interesting to see you promoting BerryWeather I guess they actually got it right with BW 2.0 LOL

I actually loved v1.x WHEN it worked. My only issue was that it would not update regularly on my Bold/in my area/whatever... and the nice folks at BellShare banned me from their forum for complaining about the lack of temp/forecast updates. Now that they've changed weather info providers (and spiffed up the app), it's great. That is all I wanted them to do - to make it work. But apparently I tweaked too many of the mods by revealing that their emperor had no clothes... so I still can't get back to their forum. In the end, I got what I wanted - a working app.

Can't say I blame you at all, but I am pretty content with BW 2.0 (Just wish it wasn't so slow on my poor Curve)

One day they may forgive you (for being right) LOL
