I was using a couple of ECruz's themes with scrolling icons for my 9000. Since I upgraded to my 9700, I can't find a decent theme.

I want a simple today-style theme with only calendar entries. I don't want the hidden dock or the hidden calendar or of the fancy stuff that theme builders do now just because they can.

There's a theme that is close called Today Scroll at The Theme Zone, but the fonts are too small (actually it's a condensed font) which makes it hard to read, and a few of the menus have white text on slightly off-white backgrounds.

Now the million dollar question: can anyone explain why a simple, functional theme is so hard to find? Why must everything be goth or vampires or kittens or cartoons? What about us business professionals?

Where did ECruz go? I miss his work.

There are several themes here that are both simple and free. Themes take time to make so I am very thankful for those who make an effort to make them (not to mention the OTA availability which requires a server)!

I love the transitions and so on. Any chance of a modification? I am looking for a theme with status at the top (basic Zen layout), scrolling 10 icon dock and no today or calendar. Will happily make a donation
