Default How do I get Myfavs back onto my phone

Please Login to Remove!

I did a wipe over the weekend, to address some data issues, and my T-mo Pearl seem to be on track. But just now I noticed my Myfavs option is totally gone, and I can't find it anywhere on my device. How do I get it back? And before it's said, no I did not hide it b/c then there would be a "unhide" option.

Did you load a non-Tmo OS?

Your Myfavs will still work with the app on your phone. I don't recall, but I have a read a method to get the favs app back on your phone using a non-TMo OS. Look around here if someone doesn't post a direct link.

Call T-Mobile customer service, tell them that your MyFave's isn't showing up, and have them reset your Faves. It should update your phone with the network and you'll start getting MyFave updates.

Try re-sending your service books and updating your myfaves online from the my tmobile website. Worked for me.

That's what I did, resent service books, when it still didn't comeback, I added a new myfav contact, and THEN MyFavs came back onto my device, BUT it omitted my previous Myfav contact, so I had to go back online and change the name of the previous contact and then both contacts were viewable on the MyFavs paw.

Hmmm. Resending service books worked for me. I also just changed the spelling of one myFaves contact and everything was resent and worked fine.

Less irritating way I've found is to just have T-Mobile CS update your Faves for you... no errors, and it works easier for me telling you that. That's what I tell customers :p

Very true, to date T-Mo customer service has been great. Give'em a call and they'll reset it in a minute or two.

And, FWIW (for the next guy searching the forums and running across this thread,) the TMo MyFaves app loads automatically onto any TMo device with any of the OS's. If you happen to be using another carrier's device on TMo then an edit of the Blackberry.alx file would be necessary to load the MyFaves app to the device.
